Research carried out on behalf of LG Business Solutions suggests an increasing sophistication amongst consumers about new screen technologies - and a growing awareness of the advantages of LED technology. Whereas 61% of those polled said that they had never heard of Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) technology (used for old-style screens),59% claimed to be aware of at least some of features and benefits of LED.
LG Business Solutions today launched its new range of LED monitors and TV/monitors in the UK at the Future Gallery in London. The range sets a new benchmark in picture quality for monitors and includes a new LG 3D gaming monitor, which was shown in action for the first time.

DIDO LT Video Wall Processor
Aurora Multimedia will introduce the cost-effective DIDO LT video wall processor at InfoComm , With the DIDO LT, integrators can design video walls utilizing up to 64 monitors that display exceptional picture quality. On-screen display menus make the processor a breeze to set up, and input and output resolutions are completely customizable to match the displays' optimal resolutions. User presets allow for simple manipulation of the video wall.
The image enhancing capabilities of the DIDO LT include motion adaptive de-interlacing, low-angle directional interpolation, 3:2 and 2:2 inverse pull-down, color correction, flesh tone adjustments, and image zoom and shrink. An internal event scheduler with real-time clock allows AARE special effects to be scheduled locally and between DIDO units when connected via the RS-485 bus. For flexible installation options, the DIDO LT's small size allows it to be mounted behind the display.
Spearheading the effort is Aurora Multimedia, offering the WACI (Web Accessible Control Interface) control system with a touch screen or button interface as part of the CLASSPAC control option. Additionally, CLASSPAC base systems include CAT5 input wall plates, a wireless microphone, an audio amplifier, speakers, cables, a digital projector, and a display mount. Furthermore, enhanced CLASSPAC systems may include options from a variety of partner manufacturers ranging from displays, projectors, and projection screens to lighting controls, thermostats, audio and video playback devices, and mounts.
