BITKOM and Deutsche Messe consolidate CeBIT partnership
Hannover/Berlin. High-tech association BITKOM and Deutsche Messe are set to consolidate their partnership in the interests of further developing CeBIT, the world’s most important IT business show. The two parties have now signed an agreement on the basis of which BITKOM, as non-commercial partner to CeBIT, will continue to strengthen CeBIT’s position as the planet’s leading IT event and provide active support to Deutsche Messe in the strategic further development of the event. This will mean a good move as we accept Cloud business for resellers and dealers.

Security Document World 2013
SDW 2012 continued its steep upward growth curve in 2012 making its sixth year another vintage.
Most notable was the opening up of a new exhibition hall to satisfy demand, taking the number of exhibitors from 70 in 2011 to 91 in 2012.
For 2013, further exhibition growth is targeted, with 95+ exhibitors expected.
The show also saw further rises in conference attendance, up almost 10% on 2011.
A significant addition to the proceedings was DocEx 2012. Bringing together document examiners and other document experts from a variety of government departments, the new session was split between government-only meetings and fully-integrated sessions with SDW delegates.
There was also a ‘Meet the Document Examiner’ session, where all SDW/DocEx attendees were afforded the opportunity to benefit from the wisdom of expert document examiners in one-on-one private meetings.

AMD launched its latest range of mobile and desktop graphics processing units (GPUs), AMD Radeon HD 8000M Series, at the Consumer Electronics Show 2013. The GPUs are specially designed for ultrathin notebooks or ultrabooks, as well as desktops.
Currently, Asustek, Lenovo and Samsung are incorporating AMD’s mobile GPUs in their devices. AMD claims it’s GPUs are ideal to run on Microsoft’s Windows 8 platforms, which give it the desired speed to provide optimal graphic solutions for notebooks and desktops. It is claimed to be an ideal product for users who need superior performance for gaming, viewing online HD videos, preparing presentations and editing photos or videos.
