Nuxeo Appoints Steve Raby as UK Country Manager
Nuxeo, a provider of Open Source ECM (Enterprise Content Management) solutions, has announced the appointment of Steve Raby as UK Country Manager. Raby brings to Nuxeo more than 25 years of sales and management within the IT industry. His appointment is an important milestone in Nuxeo’s global expansion plans. He will be responsible for sales and channel development in Nuxeo’s target sectors including media, financial services and energy.

With a solid base of enterprise instalments under our belt and a UK market that is looking for new alternatives, we believe the timing is perfect to bring him into the business.” said Stefane Fermigier, CEO of Nuxeo.
Raby commented, “I joined Nuxeo because Open Source has matured to a point where large enterprises are looking beyond operating systems and middleware tools. Nuxeo interested me because as it has already built a large user base, has a Java-based framework ideally suited to larger enterprises and has a business model that plays well with systems integrators building systems for customers.”
Most recently, Raby served as Sales & Business Development Director at JBoss, where he built and managed the JBoss EMEA sales team, drove the large enterprise sales strategy and built and enhanced EMEA channel relationships. Prior to JBoss, Raby spent more than 16 years at Sun Microsystems in various roles, most recently as Director, Partner Sales. In this role he managed a 60-strong team and delivered $600 million in revenue. He also managed the UK and Ireland channel.
