Adaptec appoints distribution sales manager
To drive growth in southern Europe, Adaptec, storage solutions, today announced the appointment of Daniel Hernandez to the position of distribution sales manager for Southern Europe.
Hernandez will be responsible for growing Adaptec’s distributor revenues in France, Spain and Portugal. His role covers Adaptec’s entire product portfolio ranging from the industry’s first Unified Serial™ RAID controllers to its award-winning family of Snap Server™ network storage systems. Hernandez reports to Jared Peters, vice president of international sales, Adaptec.
Commenting on this appointment Peters said: “Daniel joins Adaptec at an important time. Not only is the company transitioning its RAID controller business to a new Unified Serial platform but the entire Snap Server family has been completely refreshed. Demand for these products is extremely high making it essential that our distribution sales team is at full strength.”
Prior to his appointment, Hernandez held a key distribution role with Ono, a Spanish multimedia and telecommunications company, where he was responsible for developing and managing reseller and distributor relationships.
